Christmas Day

I think it's really fun having church on Christmas Day! I mean, what better way to celebrate the birth of our Savior? We got up and went to church Sunday morning. We only had Sacrament meeting, which was really weird, then we got home to open presents. Kalianna was so excited! At first she was very upset when we told her there wasn't nursery that day. The only way I got her to leave church was telling her there were presents at home. The second we walked in the door, she lit up and started unwrapping gifts. She got two of Magdalyn's partly open before we could stop her. Thankfully Maggie didn't really care.

We had a really great Christmas! Kalianna was super excited about everything she got, and she loved helping Magdalyn open her presents too. It's so fun when they start to understand presents! She played our little Santa's helper and was even thrilled to hand gifts to Mommy and Daddy to open.

Kalianna was So Excited to give Matt the present she made for him. She is describing how her  hands got pink paint on them.

Magdalyn's favorite gift? Hands down her toothbrush. She loves that thing!

We kinda wished we had more time at home after opening presents. The girls were busy playing with all their new toys but we had to load them up and move on to the next thing. We got to Matt's parent's house early in the afternoon and had "breakfast" with them. We opened presents there and then headed off to the hospital to see Bryan again. The girls lasted a little bit longer this time and we were very glad they got to see Grandpa on Christmas. After the hospital, we went to Matt's grandparent's house for food and visiting. Then, our last stop, we went to my parent's house and visited with them for awhile. When bedtime came, we put the girl's PJ's on and headed for home. It was a very long, exciting day for them. They were both asleep in a matter of minutes.
